On March 13, 2019, at Ferdinand Tavadze Metallurgy and Materials Science Institute, the meeting was held between Colonel Mamia Balakhadze, Acting Rector of Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defense Academy of Georgia and Academician Giorgi Tavadze, Director of Ferdinand Tavadze Metallurgy and Materials Science Institute. The meeting was aimed at signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement between the Academy and the Institute. The purpose of the memorandum is to establish partnership relations between the parties that will support development of educational programs. According to the agreement, Ferdinand Tavadze Metallurgy and Materials Science Institute will provide the Institute's research labs for practical studies in Materials science for the cadets of the Academy.
