The “World Multidisciplinary Earth Sciences Symposium” took place in Prague, Czech Republic on 5-9 September 2016. 500 scientists from over 50 countries took part in the symposium. The subject of the conference covered wide range of directions, including explosions and new technologies.

XII International Symposium on Self-Propagating High Temperature Synthesis was held in South Padre Island, Texas, USA on 21-24 October 2013. 91 Scientists from 19 countries took part in the symposium including from “Ferdinand Tavadze Metallurgy and Materials Science Institute”-corresponding member of Georgian National Academy of Sciences G. Tavadze, Professor G.Oniashvili and Ph.D in Engineering Physics M.Chikhradze.
The international conference “Contemporary Technologies and Methods of Non-organic Materials Science” was held in Tbilisi from June 4-6, 2012. The conference was dedicated to the 100 years anniversary since the birth of late academic Ferdinand Tavadze, the well-known Georgian scientist and metallurgist, and a public figure.
