Oral and poster contributions are invited in following areas:

1. Combustion theory and modeling
2. Mechanism and kinetics of SHS processes
3. Solution combustion
4. Powder materials and granules (micron, submicron – and nanosized)
5. Bulk functional materials (metallic, ceramics, composites, foams, etc.)
6. Coatings and layered materials.
7. New hybrid processes (shock-assisted synthesis, SPS, hot pressing, HIP, additive 3D technology, etc.)
8. Application and Industrialization.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS:

• Poster Boards will be provided in the Poster Session Room. 

• Poster maximum Size: Size ISO A1 (A1 Paper Size measures:594mm (width) x 841mm (height) / 23.4inches x 33.1inches.) 

• Please ensure that the poster is clearly readable from a distance of at least 2 m. 

• Thump-tacks ("drawing pins") to attach the poster will be provided on site.

1. Until 1st May 2017: Extended abstract submission deadline (up to 4 pages).
2. Until 1st June 2017: Notice to Authors on abstract acceptance and format of presentation
   Acceptance notification letters will be sent to contact e-mail address.
3. 15 August 2017: Provisional Symposium Program
4. 05 September2017: Final Symposium Program
5. 25 September 2017: Symposium Registration opens

Participants wishing to present a contribution are requested to complete the Registration form and prepare and submit an extended abstract (up to 4 pages) until 1st May 2017, according to the instructions: Abstract Template (doc)

The official language of the Symposium will be English and all abstracts, talks, posters and manuscripts must be in English.
